Description
The Sales Events Leader is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of DMP's externally facing sales events and exhibitions. This role owns event performance, brand experience and sales alignment across national, regional and DMP-hosted events. The Leader ensures each event delivers measurable impact while maintaining a high standard of execution.
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, event-planning or related field required, degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership of event planning and execution.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and external vendors.
  • Ability to think strategically while driving execution.
  • Willingness to travel and manage on-site event execution.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Own the strategy, planning and execution of national, vertical and regional sales events and exhibitions.
  2. Lead on-site execution for major industry exhibitions such as ISC West and GSX.
  3. Partner with sales leadership to align event participation with business goals and priorities.
  4. Define event strategy, messaging and brand presence across all events.
  5. Oversee vendor selection, negotiation and overall event execution quality.
  6. Direct event logistics in partnership with the Sales Events Associate.
  7. Develop and manage event budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources.
  8. Capture, analyze and report on event performance, ROI and key insights.
  9. Ensure timely follow-up by overseeing lead capture strategy and distribution processes.
  10. Plan and execute event registration campaigns for DMP-owned sales and training events to drive attendance and engagement.
  11. Identify opportunities to improve processes, scale programs and increase impact.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and data standards.
  13. Contribute to broader marketing initiatives and team objectives.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.
  15. Observes and adheres to DMP Classification Standard.
