Type: Exempt

Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift.

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 dependent on experience

Tessera is seeking an Installation Event Support Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of institutional events at the U.S. Air Force Academy, ensuring seamless integration of resources, stakeholders, and operational support for successful event delivery.This role serves as the primary liaison between stakeholders, ensuring all facility, infrastructure, emergency response,logistics, and operational support requirements are integrated and executed successfully.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary representative for the 10th Civil Engineer Squadron (10 CES) at all institutional event planning forums.
  • Act as thecentral pointof integration for all Civil Engineer support requirements associated with Academy institutional events, ensuring coordination acrossmultipledepartments.
  • Develop, coordinate, and synchronize event support requirements, ensuring all facility, infrastructure, emergency response,logistics, utility, and operational support actions areidentified, assigned, tracked, and completed.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability/contact for monitoring event support activities,identifyingrisks, resolving conflicts,etc.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings, status updates, etc.to USAFA senior leaders, Group and Squadron leadership, and event planning teams.
  • Build andmaintaineffective working relationships with senior military members, government civilians, contractors,and more.
  • Coordinate directly with event organizers and functional representatives across USAFA to ensure Civil Engineer support requirements are fully integrated into event execution plans.
  • Evaluate event plans for impactstofacilities, infrastructure, emergency response capabilities, force protection measures, environmental compliance, and mission operations, recommending mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Lead site visits, planning meetings, rehearsals, readiness reviews, and after-action assessments to verify Civil Engineer support requirements are understood and executable.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, exercising sound judgment and initiative while managing competing priorities and rapidly changing requirements.
  • Anticipate emerging issues, develop proactive solutions, and coordinate cross-functional responses to support successful execution of high-visibility Academy events and distinguished visitor engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree inBusiness Administration, Event Management, Public Administration, ProjectManagement,Engineering, Operations Management,ora relatedfield.
  • 3-5 years ofevent management or project management.
  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Windows,Microsoft365,and event planning software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellentcommunication/problem-solving skillsand experience with stakeholder collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
