Job description

The Manager/Director of Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for leading all financial planning and analysis and treasury, providing owners and the executive leadership team with accurate and timely financial information necessary for making policy and operating decisions. 


  • Leads the annual budget process, working with all department leaders to 5 - gather input and build consensus.
  • Leads quarterly forecast updates.
  • Leads treasury activities, including cash forecasting and cash reconciliations.
  • Leads financial analytics team and functions as the lead analytical advisor to senior management.
  • Assists in monthly open-to-buy process.
  • Maintains key banking relationships in partnership with CFO.
  • Prepare additional financial and management reporting to support business decisions.
  • Leads marketing analytics team and assists in analytics when necessary.
  • Ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Focus on development of staff.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent education, certification or experience required.
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience required
  • Prior experience in retail required.
  • MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ direct management experience preferred.

The focus of this role is to drive business outcomes and improve the long-term financial performance of the company.  A strong sense of curiosity combined with the ability to influence without authority will contribute to success in this role.  Focusing on data and fact-based analysis to influence the business is required.  This position is a key advisor to the entire leadership team and will need to be able to work with people across all parts of the organization. This role requires ability to think outside of the box and apply new knowledge to ever-changing circumstances.


The primary environment for this role is a combination of an open office and a remote workplace. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. This role is expected to be on-site in Home Office 2 days per week on an ongoing basis. Note that all hybrid and remote work conditions are covered in the Company’s current Remote Work Policy and Remote Work Agreement, incorporated here by reference. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 5% of the time.

Base Pay range for this role is $183,000 - $222,000 (Director) or $133,000 - $161,000 (Manager) annually. Your placement in the range is determined through interviews, a review of experience, knowledge, skills, balanced pay with other team members and alignment with geographic market data. Home office base pay ranges are based on the Denver market.  We target most new hire offers toward the lower end of the listed range, but more demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills may result in a higher starting rate.
Beyond Base Pay: Home office positions are eligible for consideration for an annual bonus, based on total company performance.  Amounts vary by role and are based on a percentage of eligible earnings for the fiscal year.
