Job description

Weston Racquet Club is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Design Assistant to support Cliff Drysdale Tennis's marketing and communications efforts. This part-time role is ideal for a creative self-starter who enjoys working across digital and print design, collaborating with a small team, and contributing to a vibrant, community-focused club environment.

Position Summary:
The Graphic Design Assistant will help bring our brand to life across member communications, events, social media, and on-site signage. The goal of the design position is for a successful candidate to grow into a larger marketing role within our team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support design and editing of marketing collateral for various mediums including social media and digital graphics, flyers, posters, and club signage etc.
  • Support brand consistency across all visual assets.
  • Make timely updates and revisions based on feedback.
  • Prepare files for print and digital distribution.
  • Collaborate with club leadership and marketing partners on ongoing projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop required).
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise in branding, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong design sense with attention to detail, layout, and typography.
  • Strong knowledge of brand standards and the ability to execute designs that align with established brand guidelines for all clubs/resorts, ensuring consistency across print, digital, and promotional materials.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient manner to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with multiple design formats is a plus.
  • Interest in sports, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
Education & Experience:
  • Current student or recent graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of design experience (internships and freelance work welcome).
