Maternal Postpartum Mental Support, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team in a remote capacity. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify the unique needs and challenges faced by clients, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and aspirations, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual, couple, and family counseling sessions, focusing on developing coping strategies and emotional resilience.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on therapeutic outcomes and changing circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with professional standards.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the organization to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance service delivery.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of service provision, contributing to a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

The primary focus of our practice is clients experiencing mental health challenges in the postpartum period, including anxiety, postpartum depression, and adjustment disorders. We specifically work with mothers navigating these concerns as well as their partners and families, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health care. This role demands sensitivity, empathy, and a deep understanding of maternal mental health issues to facilitate meaningful healing.

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and valid licensure in Oregon as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• A minimum of two years of direct therapeutic experience in mental health counseling, ideally with a focus on maternal mental health.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective connection with diverse clients.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team of professionals.
• Sound knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

While not mandatory, experience with telehealth platforms and familiarity with remote counseling methods can enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, experience in maternal mental health or related fields will be viewed favorably.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
