Description
InteriorWorx Commercial Flooring is a contractor with over 25 years of service throughout the Valley. We serve a wide range of industries, including multi-family and build to rent housing projects. We are seeking an experienced full-time Estimator. This role will be responsible for preparing estimates for construction projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Review construction documents and assess scope of work
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates of probable costs of material and labor for construction projects based on construction documents, contract bids, quotations, design or schematic drawings and specifications
  • Identify any omissions or inaccuracies in plans received from architect
  • Maintain estimating computer files, including bid documents and plans

Requirements:
  • 3 years experience in estimating required
  • Build to rent or multi-family flooring experience and thorough knowledge of all types of floor covering materials are required.
  • Proficient with estimating software; RFMS Measure experience is a plus
  • Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements
  • Proficient with MS Office software
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects/estimates and present a high level of organization while meeting bid deadlines
  • Must be self-motivated and positive
  • Must be able to understand and write change orders as needed
  • Strong computer and writing skills
  • References required
