Volt is immediately hiring an 1st Shift Estimator Trainee and a Warehouse Driver for a Flooring company in Boise, ID.
Looking for a candidate with installation experience who can train up to an Estimator.
Installation Technician - Estimator Trainee ($19/hr)
  • Have delivery installation experience and be willing to train up to an Estimator
  • Review project plans and product details to create accurate estimates
  • Measure job sites (in person and from plans) and complete material take-offs
  • Prepare and update quotes based on selections, changes, and product availability
  • Help ensure projects are properly set up for smooth and efficient installation

Warehouse Delivery Driver ($19/hr):
  • Verify that inbound/outbound product quantities and descriptions match
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to locate and retrieve inventory within the warehouse
  • Deliver product to jobsites using a 26 foot box truck
  • Unload deliveries and route trucks at warehouses and job sites

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity.
Estimator Trainee schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Warehouse Driver schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (Must be able to work some weekend shifts)
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Installation experience and willingnees to train on estimator skills
  • Comfortable working with measurements, basic math, and plans
  • Valid driver license with no major infractions in the last 5 years
  • Forklift experience

Pay Rate: $19/hr.
