Job Location: Charlotte NC Corporate Headquarters - Indian Trail, NC 28079

Job Summary: The Estimating Analyst serves as an initial point of contact for builder plan submissions. This individual plays a critical role in maintaining and strengthening builder relationships. The Estimating Analyst continually educates builders on best products available. This position reports to the Estimating Department Manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to blueprint submissions and partner with remote teams for accurate measurements of product.
  • Complete pricing data for builders for detailed and itemized material and quantity estimates.
  • Use templates to quantify needed materials within the established time frame.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with maintaining job folders by customers.
  • Work with company personnel to ensure accuracy in pricing sheets.
  • Perform accurate data entry in a timely manner.
  • Develop strong product knowledge and upon request make recommendations for the best products and services available.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to abide by strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure
  • Basic Mathematical Competency
  • Data entry skills
  • Intermediate-Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
Education and Experience
  • General Education Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of data entry experience, specifically in Excel
  • Blueprint reading experience preferred
  • Prior estimating experience preferred
  • Construction experience preferred
  • Knowledge of siding and/or roofing materials strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform some travel.
  • Light to moderate lifting up to 15 pounds, pushing and pulling abilities.
