Job description

OVERVIEW: The part-time Hiring Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent customer service to applicants while working closely to their regional recruiter and account manager to process and hire a high volume of qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff within Santa Rosa County School District.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional quality service to new applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Move applicants through the hiring pipeline in a timely manner to be able to accept assignments within our systems.
  • Manage communication with potential candidates including logistics of interviews and training sessions.
  • Assist candidates in obtaining state and federal credentialing and clearances as well as any new hire paperwork needed.
  • Enter new employee information into payroll systems, such as tax and direct deposit information.
  • Audit all new hire documents and guide candidates through the credentialing process.
  • Provide administrative support to the Recruiters and District Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with related Federal and state employment eligibility requirements and employment laws.
  • Work cooperatively with all members of the team; initiate and maintain excellent working relations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of six months of previous HR/staffing experience required.
  • Knowledge of the overall onboarding process.
  • Must interact well with others.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent communication skills, written skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High organizational skills.

SCHEDULE:

  • In-office daily
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4 hours each day with some flexibility on times
  • Wednesday 8 hour shift hours
