In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at supporting clients on their mental health journeys:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing structured interviews and standardized tools.
• Craft and implement personalized treatment plans that are responsive to the unique situations of each client, ensuring measurable progress and effectiveness.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and structured modalities to address diverse mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards while promoting continuity of care.

You will work with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships issues. To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Current and valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling services.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients empathetically and effectively.

While the above qualifications are necessary, candidates will stand out with:

• Experience in telehealth service provision, demonstrating the ability to adapt therapeutic modalities to a virtual environment.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic frameworks, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.
