Job description

OVERVIEW: The successful candidate is responsible for exercising a variety of strategies to recruit a high volume of talented and qualified substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support staff to work with ESS clients within an assigned area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply proven methods to identify, attract, and facilitate the hiring of qualified and diverse education professionals.
  • Attend and recruit at local community and university career fairs within the county, paid for by company.
  • Provide accurate and inspiring information to candidates about the company and available positions.
  • Create and foster relationships with colleagues and diverse professional organizations to attract a diverse group of candidates with a focus on college graduates and certified teachers.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates.
  • Work cooperatively with all members of the team.
  • Complete special projects as needed.
  • Regular, in-person attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year experience in recruitment or similar field. Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • Must interact well with others.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced and confident speaking in groups and meeting new people.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
