Job description: Data Ticket, Inc. is seeking a productive Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Accounting/Finance/AR/AP, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a desire to get things done! This position is responsible for performing one or a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting. (I.e. Accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collections, etc.). Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. This position will report to the Accounting Manager, who will provide training in all areas of duties and responsibilities. The employee must be able to perform each essential function identified below satisfactorily. The following information clarifies the essential job duties, knowledge, skill and abilities required. The essential duties listed below require intensive interaction with management, employees and applicants, therefore consistent and regular attendance is required.   • Reconcile client escrow accounts
  • Invoice clients with escrow accounts
  • Invoice clients for non-escrow accounts
  • Answer incoming client calls
  • Respond to inbound client emails
  • Assist manager in accounting related responsibilities
  • Verify, process and issue refunds
  • Process NSF’s
  • Process credit card charge backs Process transfer of funds
  • File invoice all associated back up
  • Perform monthly filing at direction of manager
  • Issue resolution
  • Perform Accounts Payable from the beginning to end
  • Perform Accounts Receivable from the beginning to end
  • Bank DepositsPerform bank account reconciliations for over 250+ bank accounts monthly
  • Maintain Client Billing Rules Working knowledge in financial statements.
  • Journal entries and general ledger maintenance Communicate with customers to address any past due invoices on their account and providing weekly status updates to management.
  • Make available financial data for management team and clients upon request.
  • Assist with special accounting projects from time to time.
  • Complete required Security Trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of overall Finance or General Accounting experience.
  • At least 1-2 years experience with QuickBooks.
