Job description

ERP Finance Consultant (Business Analyst) is responsible for identifying, developing, and deploying end-user solutions in system implementation. Business Analyst ensures business requirements are adequately met and provide a variety of leadership and advisory services around project management, business process development, implementation support, and end-user training as required. Additionally, lead project planning, implementation, and requirements gathering efforts across projects to work through complex problems. Acting liaison between Avanade clients and consultants, particularly during the initial phase of projects. Background in accounting and accounting processes are ideal.

Business Requirement Analysis

  • Define functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring they align with the business processes.

  • Translate business requirements into logical and technical models, linking them to business processes.

  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from clients and stakeholders.

  • Own and manage the requirements process, ensuring approval, communication, traceability, and re-use.


Business Process Management

  • Interface with clients and internal technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of functional requirements.

  • Lead client workshops, analyzing business process decomposition, and designing solutions for application and process gaps.

  • Prototype and configure business processes to align with customer constraints.

  • Utilize workflow technology to automate business processes, ensuring the system reacts as per defined constraints.

  • Test system behavior, including extensive testing of configurations to guarantee adherence to functional requirements.

  • Document business requirements, system settings, and prepare comprehensive system documentation.

  • Educate and train key-users and end-users on the functionality of the implemented solutions.


Stakeholder Management & Facilitation

  • Support key-users during user acceptance testing, addressing issues and ensuring the system meets clients' expectations.

  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to determine necessary patches and upgrades for the system.

  • Stay updated on technologies, including new releases and updates, to implement the latest advancements in solutions.
