Purpose of Position
The Global Travel & Logistics Program Manager supports the strategic direction for the ground services, airline, hotel and technology programs. In collaboration with Global Travel & Logistics Leadership Team, supports the execution of 39 corporate initiatives designed to achieve innovative business travel solutions across all NetJets business units. The Global Travel & Logistics Program Manager's focus is on simplificiation, innovation, safety and service improvements.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Brand ambassador for airline, hotel, and ground; collaborate with internal and external partners to provide education and communication on program offerings and improvements
  • Provide direct support to the Global Travel & Logistics department, operations, procurement, billing and external suppliers
  • Manage deviations to include billing issues/disputes; complete root cause analysis and identify themes for future improvements
  • Maintain management of feedback, supplier performance and program KPI's
  • Recommend and implement improvements to current processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the team and the overall program quality
  • Manage functional projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
  • Responsible for case database and owning escalations / deviations
  • Conduct special event planning, coordination, sourcing, and execution for peak period and key events
  • Cross-train with Global Travel & Logistics Program Managers to provide additional resources to domains as needed
  • Closely engage with the Global Travel & Logistics Coordinators and Program Managers to ensure strategy is being properly executed; use to identify new opportunities process and program improvements
  • Solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members
  • Administrative tasks as assigned by leaders of the Global Travel & Logistics team
