JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Epicor ERP Implementation Engineer, you will lead full-cycle Epicor ERP initiatives across the organization by designing, configuring, and deploying scalable solutions that optimize business operations.

You will collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Executive Leadership to streamline workflows, enhance system capabilities, and support data-driven decision-making.

This role requires deep Epicor expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver high-impact ERP improvements in a manufacturing environment.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • ERP Implementation Leadership โ€“ Manage end-to-end Epicor ERP implementations, upgrades, and module rollouts, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Business Process Optimization โ€“ Analyze operational workflows and identify opportunities to enhance system performance, automation, and cross-departmental efficiency.
  • Epicor Configuration & Customization โ€“ Develop and configure BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, user interfaces, application studio customizations, and workflow automations.
  • Reporting & Data Development โ€“ Build SSRS, Crystal Reports, and advanced queries to support operational, financial, and manufacturing reporting needs.
  • Data Migration โ€“ Lead data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration efforts for new implementations and major upgrades.
  • Technical Troubleshooting โ€“ Diagnose and resolve complex ERP, SQL, and integration issues to ensure system stability and reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration โ€“ Work directly with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions.
  • ERP Integrations โ€“ Support and maintain integrations between Epicor and MES, Quality systems, CRM platforms, data pipelines, and business applications.
  • Documentation & SOP Development โ€“ Create functional specifications, technical documentation, process maps, ERP training materials, and system architecture diagrams.
  • User Training & Support โ€“ Provide hands-on training, coaching, and assistance to end-users, ensuring successful adoption of new features and processes.
  • Testing & Validation โ€“ Develop and execute structured testing procedures for upgrades, patches, enhancements, and customizations.
  • Governance & Compliance โ€“ Ensure ERP configurations follow internal controls, IT policies, and industry regulations.
  • Performance Optimization โ€“ Analyze and enhance the performance of Epicor processes, data queries, and large transactional workloads.
  • Project Delivery โ€“ Lead ERP projects from concept to deployment, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication โ€“ Present system recommendations, project updates, risks, and insights to leadership in a clear, structured manner.
Requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience, including implementation, configuration, and long-term support.
  • Expertise in Epicor modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Inventory, Job Costing, and Quality.
  • Strong proficiency in BPMs, BAQs, dashboards, customizations, and Epicor administration tools.
  • Experience developing SSRS, SQL queries, and data transformation routines.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and ERP best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex ERP and SQL-related issues.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and delivering ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic environments and cloud-based implementations.
  • Familiarity with Global Shop Solutions, MES systems, or other manufacturing ERPs.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server performance tuning, stored procedures, or integration services.
  • Experience with Power BI, dashboards, analytics, or data modeling.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of data governance, workflow automation, or ERP security standards.
  • Understanding of API integrations, middleware, or custom data pipelines.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
