Position Title: ERP Administrator
Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract ERP Administrator opportunity with our client.
Job Description:
  • We are seeking a ERP Administrator to support our IT infrastructure and Infor Syteline ERP environment across our two manufacturing facilities (~400 employees combined).
  • This role is responsible an ERP administrator for Syteline, ensuring it effectively supports production, inventory, procurement, and financial operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • ERP Administration
  • Serve as a system administrator for Infor Syteline, managing users, roles, security groups, and site-level permissions across both facilities
  • Configure and maintain Syteline modules including Production/Job Management, Inventory, Purchasing, MRP, BOM/Routings, Quality, and Financials
  • Manage multi-site configuration within Syteline, ensuring proper site separation, intercompany transactions, and data accuracy between the two facilities
  • Administer and troubleshooting Syteline components including IDO (Intelligent Data Objects), Workflows, EAM, and Infor Ming.le
  • Build and maintain custom reports using SSRS, and Syteline's reporting tools; support IDO Data Sources and BAQ-style queries
  • Manage integrations/interfaces between Syteline and other systems (EDI, WMS, Excel/CSV imports, third-party quality, Infor CPQ, and integrating with Salesforce CRM.)
  • Provide end-user training and support across departments (planning, purchasing, shop floor, accounting)
  • Maintain Syteline documentation: configurations, customizations, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Work with Infor support/VAR partner on tickets, escalations, and enhancement requests
  • General IT Duties
  • Provide tier 2/3 technical support for network and ERP-related issues
  • Ensure data security, backup integrity, and compliance with company policies across sites
  • Participate in IT and business projects, including Syteline enhancements, network upgrades, and site expansions
  • Provide occasional after-hours/on-call support for critical network or Syteline issues (e.g., month-end close, production-impacting outages)

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2+ years hands-on experience administering ERP Systems
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Hands-on Syteline administration experience: user/security setup, IDOs, workflows, multi-site configuration
  • SQL query writing/report building skills for Syteline reporting
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes: MRP, CPQ, BOM, job/production scheduling, inventory control
  • Familiarity with EDI, barcode scanning systems, and shop floor data collection integrated with Syteline is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently across sites and manage competing priorities
  • Clear communicator able to translate technical issues for shop-floor and office end users
