What is the Opportunity?
We are looking for a driven, intellectually curious individual to join our Equity Research team as a Research Assistant.

What will you do?

  • Prepare expense reports using a web-based reporting system.

  • Manage and coordinate senior analyst travel arrangements, meeting schedules and corresponding materials.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conference calls with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Update and maintain client contacts in CRM databases.

  • Create, edit and format PowerPoint Presentations, correspondence and reports for internal and external clients, requiring a high degree of comfort with Microsoft Office programs.

  • Develop expertise in internal policies and procedures.

  • Other administrative duties and projects across the equity research group, as assigned

  • Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business.

  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.

  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functionspromptly.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Strong interest in the financial markets and equity research

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines is crucial.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and coordinate effectively within a team environment.

  • Superior customer service focus and attitude for internal and external clients

  • Excellent professional communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Able to take initiative, problem-solve, and be resourceful to find solutions

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $75,000-$85,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
