CPRE Research Assistant

Posting Summary:
The Consortium for Policy Research in Education (CPRE) at Teachers College, Columbia University is seeking a part-time research assistant to support ongoing research.
Job Summary/Basic Function:
The research assistant will conduct hands-on coding and data analysis of qualitative and quantitative data collected from multiple impact evaluations under the supervision of a senior research scientist and/or PI. He/she should be familiar with STATA, Atlas.ti, and Qualtrics. The research assistant may also organize data sets, arrange and conduct interviews to gather data, and write reports using both quantitative and qualitative data. This position is on a hybrid schedule.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in education or one of the social sciences.
  • Familiarity with conducting educational research or evaluations of a similar nature to CPRE's work.
  • Good writing and general research skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Foundational skills in quantitative and qualitative research skills.
  • Experience working as part of an academic research team.

Salary Range:
$40 - $40
