Job description

Set sail to your next adventure with Cayo Costa Hospitality, LLC! We’re searching for an energetic and customer-focused Retail amp; Rental Associate to join our beachside team. In this role, you’ll help guests gear up for their perfect day at the shore—whether they’re shopping for essentials, renting kayaks or a campsite. If you enjoy working outdoors, providing friendly service, and being part of a laid-back coastal environment, we’d love to meet you!
Rental/Retail Associate Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
  • Assist guests with kayak and other beach equipment rentals
  • Assist guest checking in/out of campground
  • Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point of sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards and making change
  • Restock and maintain retail displays or rental equipment
  • Participate in closing, opening procedures
  • Keep retail and/or rental storage space clean and organized
  • Demonstrate knowledge of rentals, park and safety information
Position Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Must be computer proficient
  • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts
  • Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Majority of shift will be spent on feet, up to 8 hours per day
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Position involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Two (2) years retail/rental experience preferred
