Role Overview

The Marketingย Internย will assist the Marketing Manager in executing marketing strategies; curating content; refining communication and public relations strategies; and ensuring brand consistency across all five companies.ย  This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience inย marketing/communications, real estate, and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to jobsites, events, and company functions to capture photo and video contentย 

  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all five companiesโ€™ social media accountsย 

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity, including monitoring and responding to comments and messagesย 

  • Edit photos and video into platform-ready content such as posts,ย reels, andย storiesย 

  • Maintain a social media content calendar and ensure brand consistency across all five accountsย 

  • Monitor and report on KPIs including engagement, reach, and follower growthย 

  • Collaborate withinternal teams to capture andย showcasecompany projects, culture, and success storiesย 

  • Stay on top of platform trends and emerging formats, and bringย new contentย ideas to the Marketing Managerย 

  • Assistย with any other marketing and business development related needsย identifiedย by the Marketing Managerย 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related fieldย 

  • Strong photography and videography skills, including shooting and editing short-form video (e.g.,ย CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva)ย 

  • Expert across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube)ย 

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to jobsites and events across South Carolina and North Carolina (mileage reimbursed)ย 

  • Available to workย 40 hoursย per week during the summerย 

  • Creative mindset with akeen eye for design and brand executionย 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in afast-paced environmentย 

  • Passion for visual storytelling in the construction and real estate industry; comfortable working on active jobsitesย 

  • Self-starter whotakes initiative, contributesย new ideas, and is ready to present and execute new strategiesย 

  • This internship has the potential to be extended beyond the summer based on performance.ย
