Description

In this job, the team member will operate state of the art equipment to provide accurate application of agronomy products according to customer specifications.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate custom application of agronomy products
  • Efficiently operate application equipment
  • Complete all related paper work in a timely manner
  • Ensure services are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
  • Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
  • Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
  • Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
  • Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance - positively enriching the culture of CFS
  • Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management

Requirements

Licensing, Certification and Qualifications:

  • Maintain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements. Maintain air brake endorsement with class A CDL. Will assist with obtaining license and endorsements
  • Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
  • Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines - acceptable driving record
  • Maintain commercial applicators license. Will assist with obtaining license

Working Environment:

Will be subject to outdoor temperature fluctuations, bouncing or jolting. Ability to work extended hours.


Physical Demands:

Able to lift and carry 25 to 80 pounds; climb ladders and steps; reach above, below and at shoulder level; work on or with moving machinery; have full use of arms, hands, legs; have good finger dexterity; subject to twisting motions
