What is an equipment coordinator?

Equipment Coordinators are professionals responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining equipment used within an organization or on a project site. Their duties include tracking inventory, scheduling regular maintenance, ensuring equipment is in good working condition, and coordinating the distribution and return of equipment. They often work closely with other departments to meet operational needs and comply with safety standards. Effective Equipment Coordinators help prevent costly delays and minimize equipment downtime.

How does an equipment coordinator typically collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations?

As an Equipment Coordinator, you’ll work closely with a variety of teams such as maintenance, procurement, and operations to ensure all equipment is available, well-maintained, and compliant with safety standards.
