Job description

Food Service Equipment Installer

This position is responsible for the delivery, installation, assembly, and startup of commercial food service equipment in a variety of settings including restaurants, schools, hospitals, hotels, and institutional facilities. This position requires mechanical aptitude, electrical and plumbing knowledge, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and install commercial food service equipment at customer locations
  • Read and interpret installation drawings, specifications, and manufacturer instructions
  • Perform mechanical assembly and equipment setup
  • Connect and verify basic electrical and plumbing components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
  • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently while meeting company standards
  • Travel to various job sites as required

Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial kitchen or food service equipment installation preferred
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Capable of lifting heavy equipment and performing physical labor
