When will you work?
This is a hybrid position working Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00pmET. Preferred location near Lexington, KY
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to drive sales of Wedgewood's compounding products within veterinary clinics. This role requires building strong relationships, executing strategic sales plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to grow the customer base and market share.
What you'll do:
Sales Execution & Performance
  • Implement & execute effective sales strategies to place Wedgewood's compounding products in clinics within the BoB, growing sales and customer base.
  • Develop strong knowledge of all assigned clinics, including their: products, business objectives, decision making processes, key staff and technology footprint.
  • Utilizes highly effective selling & account management skills to educate and influence customers to move to Wedgewood.

Business Management
  • Create and execute a business plan for your BoB, identifying the best strategic path to gain sales growth across compounding while managing expenses.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive intelligence to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Use CRM and sales tools to maintain clinic records, track opportunities and plan outreach.

Field-Based Relationship Building
  • Visit equine veterinary practices within the territory on an as-needed basis to establish and strengthen client relationships.
  • Act as a trusted partner to veterinarians, providing tailored solutions, product support, and expertise to enhance their practice.
  • Represent the company at equine and veterinary industry events, promoting products and services.

Product Knowledge
  • Leverage marketing and sales tools to deliver consistent sales and marketing messaging.
  • Execute and maintain Wedgewood's brand and portfolio strategies to drive sales.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to position Wedgewood's products effectively.

What you've done:
  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience of lead generation and sales experience
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship development, opportunity identification and pipeline tracking and building.
  • Experience working in a CRM; Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of animal health/veterinary clinic industry experience preferred
