Oracle Cloud EPM Consultant Hybrid Vienna, VA Pay Rate: $50/hr. W2 Position Type: Multiyear Contract Role Summary System One IT is seeking a senior, hands-on Oracle Cloud EPM contractor to support and enhance our client’s EPM platform. This role requires immediate contribution across planning applications, integrations, calculations, and platform operations. Not a training role. Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on support and enhancement of Oracle Cloud EPM applications (Planning/PBCS, Essbase, PCM, ARCS, Narrative Reporting, Reporting, EDM).
  • Build and maintain complex calculations and business rules using Essbase, Groovy, and MDX.
  • Develop and support data integrations using Data Management / Data Exchange and ODI.
  • Support configurations, metadata, security, and operational controls across EPM environments.
  • Validate and reconcile data loads to ensure accuracy and downstream integrity.
  • Support forecasting, annual planning, and ongoing financial modeling.
  • Perform system testing, regression testing, migrations, and environment refreshes/cloning.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and Oracle Support.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable models, forms, and reports.
  • Contribute to the execution of the EPM roadmap aligned to Finance Transformation.
Required Qualifications
  • Deep, hands-on Oracle EPM Cloud experience (senior level).
  • Strong expertise in Planning (PBCS), Essbase calculations, integrations, metadata, and security.
  • Proven experience with complex EPM data flows and reconciliations.
  • Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
  • Oracle ERP Financials experience (GL, AP, FA, Projects).
  • ODI experience.
  • Financial institution / regulated industry experience.
  • EPM certification.
