We are seeking aTeam Lead for ourEpic-Ambulatory Primary Careteam.

The Team Lead will lead a dynamic team focused on expanding and enhancing Epic software throughout Montefiore Health System. Responsibilities include hands-on participation and oversight of workflow analysis, data collection, system design, and technical troubleshooting associated with Epic solutions. The Team Lead will prepare detailed requirement specifications, provide technicalexpertiseinidentifyingand evaluating system enhancements, and manage the overall design, build, testing, installation, and maintenance of Epic applications.The Team lead will partner with the manager to execute responsibilities below.

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and delegate tasks, guiding team members in the execution of responsibilities.

  • Provide performance management feedback andidentifytraining needs for team members.

  • Participate in staffing decisions, including promotions and hiring.

  • Lead project planning activities, clearly defining project scope,objectives, resource needs, and priorities.

  • Proactivelyidentify, communicate, and manage project risks and issues.

  • Provide high-level client service by resolving escalated incidents through advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and vendor collaboration.

  • Identifyhighly complex, non-routine issues and recommend corrective action. Develop solutions for new system requirements. Provideexpertisein design and planning and ensure thatappropriate technicaldesigns are implemented.

  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure system efficiency, adherence to standards, and operational feasibility.

  • Maintainexpertiseinindustrybest practices, emerging technologies, and business trends to effectively advise management and team members.

  • Provide 24 x 7 remote on-call support on a rotating schedule, and as-needed on-site support within Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and affiliates.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer scienceorrelated field, or equivalent experience.

  • EpicCare Ambulatory or Orders certification isrequired.

  • 6+ years of related Epic and healthcare operations experience, including ambulatory workflows and practices

  • Prior leadership experience in a supervisory, Team Lead, or Technical Lead role within IT, including team coordination, coaching, and performance management

  • Experience supporting primary care, behavioral health, andsocial workworkflows preferred

  • Experience in Epic application implementation, configuration, go-live support, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with effective technical documentation abilities.

  • Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient desktop skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working directly with clinical and business end users.
