Job description

This job includes a base rate plus commissions. Total Potential Annual Earnings: $74,726 - $115,000
The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for the planning, successful execution and follow through on a diverse range of client activities aimed at promoting mutual growth and profitability. The Relationship Manager will maintain the highest level of client trust ensuring client retention. Carry out innovative and complex projects to their completion associated to client needs and make sound recommendations to ensure EPIC RPS exceeds client expectations.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ASPAA Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or other industry certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ERISA requirements, have experience with administering a broad range of qualified plans

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients, company management and colleagues. Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets legislative changes, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to create reports, professional business correspondence and procedures.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or written form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Must have knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications.
  • Position requires domestic travel for client meetings, conferences and trade shows.

Unique Job Characteristics and Requirements:

  • Travel less than 50%
  • Driver's License required
  • Reliable transportation required

Tasks Performed:

  • 25% Assist in resolving escalated client issues. Solicit feedback from internal and external partners to continually improve EPIC RPS deliverables; such as the client service experience, online tools, the conversion process, plan document management, the quarterly statement process, the year-end compliance testing and 5500's.
  • 25% Conduct on-site or virtual client meetings on a regular basis with an emphasis on client growth, satisfaction and retention.
  • 25% Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue through the introduction of additional EPIC RPS Investment 5 and Administrative services.
  • 20% Manage communications between all client representative, trade partners, trust system vendors and all levels of internal EPIC RPS staff.
  • 5% Perform other duties as assigned.
