Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Epic Ambulatory Analyst to support ongoing maintenance, optimization initiatives, project work, and Epic upgrades within a complex healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong Epic Ambulatory expertise along with experience in referral and authorization workflows, mobile applications, and revenue cycle processes. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance workflows, support end users, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead efforts related to referral ordering workflows and partner with cross-functional teams to support referral management initiatives.
  • Collaborate with scheduling, managed care, and revenue cycle teams to improve ambulatory workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary analyst for mobile application functionality, including provider and clinician mobile solutions.
  • Support ongoing Epic Ambulatory maintenance, optimization, enhancements, upgrades, and project initiatives.
  • Analyze business and clinical workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and system optimization.
  • Assist with system design, build, testing, validation, implementation, and post-go-live support activities.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and work closely with operational stakeholders to resolve system concerns.
  • Provide mentorship, knowledge transfer, and support to internal team members.
  • Participate in change management, documentation, and training efforts as needed.
  • Ensure solutions align with organizational objectives, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Epic Ambulatory certification required.
  • Experience supporting Epic Ambulatory applications in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of referral and authorization workflows.
  • Experience supporting ambulatory revenue cycle processes and collaborating with billing teams.
  • Experience with clinical mobile applications, including Haiku and Canto.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience participating in Epic upgrades, implementations, and optimization projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Epic certifications such as Referral Management, Tapestry, Cadence, or Revenue Cycle applications.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide healthcare initiatives.
  • Prior experience mentoring analysts or supporting analyst development.
Additional Information
  • Primarily remote opportunity with minimal onsite travel (approximately quarterly, as needed).
  • Candidates must be available during Pacific Time business hours.
  • Candidates must be dedicated to this engagement and may not maintain concurrent consulting engagements during the assignment.
