Job description

Your job is more than a job

Job Description Summary

If you love solving puzzles, keeping systems running smoothly, and being the go-to tech hero for your team, this role is calling your name.

At LCMC Health, we believe technology should empower caregivers, strengthen our communities, and improve lives. As a Revenue Cycle Functional Architect, you'll be more than a technical expert-you'll be a strategic partner, creative problem solver, and mentor, helping shape how the revenue cycle Epic systems support high-quality, compassionate care.

Why This Role Matters

Functional Architects at LCMC Health are the storytellers and translators of technology -turning complex needs into clear, integrated, and scalable solutions that support providers, staff, and patients every day. You'll help bring ideas to life, blending innovation with realism, while keeping our systems secure, reliable, compliant, and ready for what's next.

This role is perfect for big-picture thinkers and collaborative leaders who love connecting the dots, leading teams through meaningful change, and seeing their work make a real, tangible impact on patient care. If you enjoy solving puzzles, mentoring others, and building something that truly matters-you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and optimize Epic revenue cycle applications that support operational goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities

Lead solution design efforts, collaborating with business, clinical, and IT partners to turn great ideas into practical, sustainable solutions

Analyze workflows and user needs, spotting opportunities to automate processes and improve how systems work day to day

Ensure systems are compliant and reliable, meeting regulatory and meaningful use requirements while supporting security, efficiency, and high availability

Juggle multiple initiatives like a pro, staying organized, proactive, and on track to hit milestones and deadlines

Translate complex concepts into clear stories, using strong communication and presentation skills to align diverse audiences

Mentor and support teammates, sharing knowledge and helping others grow across the Applications team

Champion collaboration and customer service, building tools and resources that empower providers, staff, and team members.

What We're Looking For

Successful Revenue Cycle Functional Architects at LCMC Health are:

Vision-driven leaders who see the big picture and love guiding ideas from a spark of inspiration all the way through execution

Creative problem-solvers with analytical chops, designing smart, elegant solutions that work in the real world-not just on paper

Trusted collaborators who build strong partnerships across clinical, business, and IT teams and know great outcomes are a team sport

Highly organized and adaptable, comfortable shifting priorities and thriving in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

Clear, confident communicators who can turn complex technical details into meaningful, easy-to-understand conversations

Team-first mentors who genuinely enjoy coaching, sharing knowledge, and helping others grow and succeed

Why You'll Love This Job

You'll play a meaningful role in improving how care is delivered by designing systems that support providers, staff, and patients across our communities.

This role gives you the opportunity to think strategically and creatively balancing big-picture architecture with hands-on problem solving in a complex, rewarding environment.

You'll collaborate with talented, mission-driven colleagues across clinical, business, and IT teams who value partnership, trust, and shared success.

Your expertise will be valued and visible, with space to mentor others, influence decisions, and help shape the future of Epic revenue cycle solutions at LCMC Health.

We support growth through continuous learning, leadership development, and the chance to work on impactful initiatives that truly matter.
