Position Overview

A leading hospital is seeking an experienced Epic Grand Central Analyst to support patient access and hospital operations within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic Grand Central modules, ensuring efficient admission, discharge, transfer (ADT), bed management, and patient flow processes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, build, and maintain Epic Grand Central modules
  • Support ADT workflows, including admissions, discharges, transfers, and bed management
  • Collaborate with patient access, nursing, and operational teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Optimize patient flow processes to improve throughput and operational efficiency
  • Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot system issues and workflow inefficiencies
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and go-live support
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users

Required Qualifications
  • Epic Grand Central Certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Epic Grand Central or patient access systems
  • Strong understanding of ADT workflows, bed management, and patient flow logistics
  • Experience with system build, configuration, and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in hospital or large healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with patient throughput optimization and operational best practices
  • Experience supporting Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
