Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Directs Revenue Cycle Management EAPM strategies and EPIC installation to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the department and organization. Accountable for the success of EAPM and manages Budget, Timelines, Operational/Technical Decisions and Scope/Quality. Demonstrates subject matter expertize in in one or more of the following domains: Registration, Scheduling, Charging, Coding, Financial Counseling, Billing, HIM, Bed planning, clinical operations administration. Holds project team and readiness owners accountable to deliverables. Reviews and approves communications (e.g., newsletters, cosponsors, executive sponsors, steering committees, etc.) following a stakeholder engagement plan. Partners with cosponsors on material content when presenting to institute leadership and executive sponsors. Actively engages in work-stream activities (e.g., PODS, Institute Demonstrations, Validation sessions). Manages Program and Project Managers and works with direct and indirect (matrix-structured) analysts teams across RCM IT, ITD, CSO, Communications and Training. Act as first point of escalation from program/project manager(s). Leads key executive level vendor management responsibilities with Epic and third party bolt-on vendors. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, accounting or business administration. ย 
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: None required.
COMPLEXITY OF WORK: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions in volatile situations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum ten years of experience in a large Clinic/Group practice or hospital patient accounting operations. Extensive experience and involvement in management and with patient financial reporting functions, patient account auditing or public accounting required.
