Job description

The Data Strategy / Implementation Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating enterprise data strategy initiatives, cloud-based analytics programs, Epic reporting implementations, enterprise data modernization efforts, and cross-functional analytics projects across multiple departments.

This role partners with clinical, operational, financial, and technical stakeholders to ensure reporting solutions align with business priorities, data governance standards, and implementation objectives. The Coordinator serves as a key liaison between business leaders, analytics teams, and Information Technology to facilitate reporting initiatives, optimize Epic reporting tools, and drive successful implementation of enterprise data strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support execution of the organization's Enterprise Data Strategy, ensuring alignment between business objectives, analytics initiatives, reporting capabilities, and technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with executive leadership, analytics teams, and Information Technology to develop and advance enterprise data management, governance, and modernization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cloud platform teams to support enterprise data and analytics solutions leveraging hyperscaler technologies such as AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Coordinate enterprise data platform initiatives, including data warehousing, data lake, interoperability, data integration, and advanced analytics programs.
  • Lead governance and oversight activities related to enterprise data conversions, migrations, and third-party implementation partners.
  • Facilitate development and adoption of enterprise data standards, metadata management practices, master data management (MDM), and data quality frameworks.
  • Evaluate emerging data technologies, cloud capabilities, and analytics solutions to support the organization's long-term enterprise data strategy.
  • Drive alignment between Epic reporting initiatives and broader enterprise data architecture, cloud analytics, and business intelligence strategies.
  • Monitor enterprise data strategy metrics, modernization milestones, and cloud analytics adoption to ensure successful program outcomes.

Required Experience

  • Experience as a Team Lead leading healthcare data strategy, reporting, analytics, implementation initiatives, and enterprise data modernization programs, preferably within an Epic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing Enterprise Data Strategy initiatives, including enterprise data governance, data architecture, data platform modernization, master data management, metadata management, and analytics transformation programs.
  • Experience working with cloud hyperscaler platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform) to support enterprise data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, reporting, and large-scale data integration initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Epic reporting and analytics tools, including Reporting Workbench, Cogito, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, and related Epic reporting solutions.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud-based analytics and data platforms.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, governance, and oversight of third-party data conversion and migration initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise reporting, analytics implementations, and strategic data initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, reporting standards, data quality management, and enterprise data stewardship practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into enterprise data and analytics implementation priorities while balancing operational support and project objectives.
  • Experience coordinating multiple initiatives within a complex healthcare environment.
  • Experience coordinating Epic reporting implementations or large-scale healthcare analytics initiatives.
  • Understanding of enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, reporting standardization, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership to establish enterprise reporting, analytics, and data strategy roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud-based data ecosystems, including data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, interoperability, and enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, coordinate resources, remove barriers, and manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills with operational, clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, manage project documentation, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  • Supports collaboration and knowledge sharing across analytics, clinical, operational, and technical teams.
  • Assists in mentoring analysts by promoting reporting best practices, data governance, and continuous professional development.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80.00 to $90.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
