Epic Data Analysts are responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data from Epic systems to support a variety of operational, clinical, and administrative initiatives. On a typical day, you may collaborate with clinicians, IT staff, and managers to define reporting requirements, extract and validate data, and generate dashboards or performance reports. You’ll also troubleshoot data discrepancies, ensure the accuracy of reports, and support special projects such as process improvement initiatives or regulatory reporting. This role often requires a mix of independent analysis and teamwork, making strong communication and organizational skills important for success.
