Epic Clarity Data AnalystPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced Epic Clarity Data Analyst to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making initiatives. This role will be heavily focused on SQL development, extracting and analyzing data from the Epic Clarity database, creating dashboards and visualizations, and delivering actionable insights to business and clinical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Epic Clarity, SQL, Power BI, and Snowflake, with a proven ability to transform complex healthcare data into meaningful reporting solutions. This individual will work closely with operational, clinical, and technical teams to develop reports, dashboards, and analytics that support organizational goals and improve performance.


Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Reporting
  • Extract, analyze, and validate data from Epic Clarity databases to support business, clinical, and operational reporting needs.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and reporting datasets.
  • Analyze trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights based on healthcare data.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and dashboards.
Dashboard Development & Visualization
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards within Epic reporting tools and Power BI.
  • Create visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into meaningful dashboards and reports.
  • Optimize reporting solutions for usability, performance, and scalability.
Data Warehousing & Analytics
  • Utilize Snowflake to support data storage, analysis, and reporting initiatives.
  • Work with large datasets to perform data validation, transformation, and analysis.
  • Support enterprise analytics projects by integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing data models that support reporting and business intelligence efforts.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with clinical, operational, financial, and technical teams to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership and end users.
  • Provide support for reporting-related issues, troubleshooting, and data validation efforts.
  • Maintain documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and analytics solutions.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Epic Clarity Certification.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex query development, joins, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data from Epic Clarity databases.
  • Experience with Snowflake data platform.
  • Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Tableau reporting and dashboard development.
  • Healthcare industry experience, preferably working with Epic data environments.

Pay and Benefits
