NAVA Software solutions is looking for an EPIC Consultant
Details:
EPIC Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12 months
Role Overview & Required Skills:The candidate will be playing an Epic Specialist role on this project. They will need strong knowledge of the EPIC EHR system, both technically and functionally. The candidate needs hands-on experience working with various integration options such as EPIC webservices, FHIR APIs and MyCharts customization. They should have worked on an environment to integrate digital solutions with EPIC EHR by leveraging EPIC webservices or FHIR APIs. The candidate will also need experience working with various data tiles and models.
Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate various clinical domain data models and evaluate the right integration options with EPIC EHR system.
  • Interact and validate FHIR resources and EPIC webservices to identify gaps and map them to appropriate features and functions.
  • Interface with product and technology teams to document the requirements per feature and identify gaps through having the right conversation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure to healthcare domain is a mandatory requirement.
  • Hands on experience working with various integration options such as EPIC webservices, FHIR APIs and MyCharts customization is a must have.
  • Resource should have worked on an environment to integrate digital solutions with EPIC EHR by leveraging EPIC webservices or FHIR APIs.
  • Resource should have end to end knowledge of HL7 and FHIR standards
  • Resource should have good Analytical capabilities and should be able to resolve complex issues.
  • Resource should have strong technical knowledge
  • Resource should have strong communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying applications that interface with EHR systems such as EPIC.
  • Experience in creating REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools desirable.
