Minimum 5 years of experience as a Program Manager
Venteon is currently seeking a Program Manager to fill an opening with a manufacturing company located in Canton, MI
Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of a program, including developing and maintaining program timelines using MS PROJECT, program budget, customer deliverables, action registers, managing vendor & contractor PO s & change orders, travel costs. Working with cross functional teams across the company, communicating with Senior Management, customer Program Managers and Direct Customer Management. Leading cross-functional teams to achieve the program objectives.
Requirements of the Program Manager
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

  • Experience providing direction to individuals in any environment
  • Time management efficiency ability to complete tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficiency in structured problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (intermediate level or higher)
  • Proven ability to overcome obstacles and results driven
  • U.S. Passport
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of project management, program management, or other related experience prior experience with implementing engineered solutions, manufacturing products, processes, and environment, and understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • 4-5 years hands-on experience working in a manufacturing

Responsibilities of the Program Manager
  • Must always conduct yourself in a safe manner.
  • Must comply with all company (and customer) safety and personnel policies and adhere to OSHA safety standards.
  • Support and participate in activities that enhance the current safety culture at the site.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (potentially more during program implementation).
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to use MS Suite of programs, including MS Project.
  • Complete work according to written and or verbal instructions, including direction as set forth by senior management.
  • Perform and or support defining labor resources, specific skillsets, material resources, identifying long lead items to ensure ample time to procure to support program milestones.
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the program to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the program
  • Serving as a point of contact for Project Managers when multiple units are assigned to the same program to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicating with managers customers to keep the program aligned with their goals
  • Performing quality control on the program throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the program as needs or financing for the program change
  • Perform other duties assigned from time to time by management team.
