Compensation: $28 - $30 / hour

Job Overview: Marquis Certified Home Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to primarily assist with insulin administration at mealtimes for resident at an Assisted Living Facility. This role is perfect for an LPN who values building relationships with residents, ensuring medication compliance, and supporting a high standard of care in a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer insulin injections safely and accurately at scheduled mealtimes

  • Monitor residents’ blood glucose levels and document findings

  • Assess residents for any signs of hypo/hyperglycemia and respond accordingly

  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers

  • Maintain accurate medication records and follow all state and facility guidelines

  • Provide basic nursing care and assistance as needed

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in New York State

  • CPR Certification

  • Experience with insulin administration and diabetes management preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
