Detailed Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Workday Payroll Consultant with strong expertise in U.S. Payroll to support implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Workday Payroll solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of U.S. payroll processes, compliance regulations, and hands-on experience with Workday Payroll modules.
Lead/support end-to-end Workday US Payroll implementation and configuration.
Configure earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, and pay calendars.
Ensure accurate payroll processing, validation, and reconciliation.
Maintain compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Support tax filings, year-end activities and audits.
Work on integrations with time tracking, benefits, and third-party systems.
Perform unit testing, SIT, and UAT for payroll solutions.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements.
Troubleshoot payroll issues and provide ongoing production support and enhancements.
Stay updated on Workday releases, payroll best practices, and process improvements.
