Job description

Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to provide support, which includes troubleshooting Production issues, configuring the Workday Finance application, performing end-to-end testing of integrations, reports, and/or business processes. The selected candidate would support the Production Workday environment, future releases, and the development of new solutions and enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
  • Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships.
  • Identifies resources required for each task.
  • Define and manage application security.
  • Participate with TS teams in the software development life cycle for the financials application, Procurement, Workflow, other financials products, and self-service applications.
  • Provide responsive support to production issues.
  • Perform project management or implementation assistance for new software products.
  • Process customer requests, gather requirements, design and perform application setups, assist with technical development, perform unit testing, and production setups.
  • Prepare appropriate documentation and provide efficient and effective solutions to meet business needs and maintain the validity of system controls and data integrity.
  • Provide support for system administration, implementations, user training, and documenting business processes.
  • Provide guidance and advice for process reengineering.
  • Set up/customizing Workflows and Self-Service modules.
  • Work effectively as a team member and provide excellent support to client users.
  • Participate with TS teams in the software development life cycle for HCM and CRM applications and portals.
  • Work effectively with delivered HCM/CRM functional modules.
  • Provide responsive support to production issues.
  • Utilize XML/BI Publisher for human capital management reports.
  • Provide guidance and advice for process reengineering.
  • Set up/customize Workflows and Self-Service modules.
  • Work effectively as a team member and provide excellent support to client users.
  • Perform project management tasks associated with System Development Lifecycle.
  • Administer HCM/CRM application security.
  • Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional

  • Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
  • Build and support Workday Orchestrate integrations for a new travel system, workflows, and automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Workday Prism Analytics data pipelines, datasets, and visualizations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, integrations, and analytics solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Support Workday releases, enhancements, testing, and production deployments.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.

Citizenship

US Citizenship or Green Card.

Required Qualifications

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in full SDLC for all task order applications and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile and ITIL practices and methodologies.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge and experience of principles and practices of task order applications or technologies
  • Experience developing Workday reports, Orchestrate integrations, and Prism Analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Workday Finance business processes, security, and data architecture.
  • Experience with Workday integration technologies and reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent work ethic and analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related degree in the IT field, or equivalent experience.
