Are you ready to join one of California’s leading law firms specializing in real estate and multi-family rental housing law?  Kimball, Tirey & St. John, LLP is seeking a talented and motivated attorney to join our dynamic Irvine office.

Our Irvine office seeks a highly motivated Office Attorney to join our fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to take on a broad range of transactional and litigation matters covering both business and real estate. This entry-level role requires strong analytical and writing skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to our clients. We are a client-centered firm and looking for an Attorney who enjoys interacting with clients daily and able to form long-term business relationships.

Compensation: $95,000 - $125,000 Annually (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients step-by-step through the unlawful detainer process
  • Review and advise on the enforceability of lease provisions
  • Provide legal advice through phone and email consultations
  • Draft legal correspondence, including letters and pre-litigation notices
  • Conduct legal research on an independent basis

Qualifications:

  • J.D. and an active California Bar License (pending Bar results will be considered)
  • 0-3 years experience
  • Strong oral and written advocacy skills
  • Strong legal research and writing skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of landlord/tenant law
  • Familiarity with affordable housing programs (e.g. HUD, Section 8, tax credit housing)
  • Experience in the rental housing industry
  • Client training and public speaking experience

Schedule:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Standard hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The firm offers an in-office/hybrid work model for select positions, with onboarding and training conducted in-office as required.
