Entry-Level Carpenter

Clermont, IA

Starting Pay: $22.00hr without experience!

We are seeking motivated, entry-level carpenters. This is a full-time role ideal for individuals eager to learn the trade, build hands-on skills, and grow their careers in construction.

Position Overview

As an entry-level carpenter, you will work alongside

experienced crew members to assist with a variety of construction tasks on

commercial and/or residential job sites. This position requires a willingness

to travel during the workweek and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with framing, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Operate and maintain hand and power tools
  • Load and unload construction materials
  • Follow job site safety standards and procedures
  • Support skilled carpenters and supervisors as needed

Qualifications

  • No formal experience required – we will train the right candidate
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices is a plus
  • Ability to travel Monday–Friday (home on weekends)

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
