Job Title: Assembly Worker – Cold Storage
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Temp-to-Hire
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Assembly Workers in a cold storage environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in refrigerated conditions and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly while performing repetitive assembly and packaging tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, pack, and label products in accordance with company and quality standards
  • Handle and sort food or cold-stored goods on assembly lines
  • Lift, stack, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines
  • Perform quality checks and report any defects or issues to supervisors
Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in cold temperatures (typically 34–40°F) for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
