About the Role:  

Rosenboom is seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Custodian to support our manufacturing facilities in Sheldon and Spirit Lake. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment for our employees and visitors. If you take pride in your work, enjoy staying active throughout the day, and can work independently, we'd like to hear from you.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Care of company property, including tasks specific to keeping the plant clean.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms, breakrooms, and offices as required.
  • Gather and empty garbage.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Oversees the storage and maintenance of the custodial inventory and equipment.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.

Other Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • May maintain building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors before and/or after operating hours.
  • May mow lawn and maintain landscape plants.
  • May keep sidewalks clear of ice and debris.

Competencies:

  • Communicates (speaks and understands) In English or Spanish.
    • Demonstrates ability to communicate orally in a clear and positive manner.
    • Demonstrates ability to generate and maintain accurate and concise written records, as appropriate to job assignment.
  • Understands chemical labels, and Material Safety Data Sheets.
