The Temporary Day Laborer (Lumper) assists warehouse personnel with the safe and efficient unloading of shipping containers. Responsibilities include manually unloading cartons, palletizing product according to instructions, shrink-wrapping completed pallets, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manually unload cartons from ocean containers.
  • Stack and palletize cartons in a safe and organized manner.
  • Wrap completed pallets for transport and storage.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
  • Assist with general warehouse cleanup and material handling as needed.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive physical work.
  • Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Prior warehouse or material handling experience is not required.
