As a Temporary Structure Installer, you will use your skills to install and dismantle temporary structures using powered equipment, various types of lifts, and hand tools. Temporary Structure Installers I will build and dismantle tent structures per manufacturer and company guidelines.

What you'll do: Installation and Dismantling of Tent Structures. Understand the types of tent structures used by the company (frame, pole, clearspan, structure tents, canopies, etc.) Identify and name all tent components, including beams, rafters, purlins, uprights, stakes, anchors, tensioning hardware, and keder systems Observe and assist senior installers with the assembly and disassembly process Layout and site preparation Tent frame assembly sequence Fabric installation and tensioning Securing and anchoring methods Understand and follow manufacturer specifications for each structure type. Properly load, secure, and unload materials on company vehicles and trailers to prevent damage or shifting during transit Follow directions from the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate equipment counts Assist in site layout using measuring tools and supervisor guidance

Properly load, secure, and unload materials on company vehicles and trailers to prevent damage or shifting during transit Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Entry-level position, no prior tent installation experience necessary; on-the-job training provided Construction or related experience a plus, but not required Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with minimal driving infractions Ability to obtain forklift, manlift, and OSHA certifications within 6 months Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations is a plus, but not required Basic use of hand tools (hammer, drill, rachet, wrenches, impact driver) Willingness to learn power equipment, such as forklifts, boom lifts, and stake drivers Able to follow instructions and implement feedback Strong organizational skills and show attention to detail This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
