Job Summary:
Spatial Front, Inc. is a recognized leader in supporting Federal Government programs and is seeking multiple Project/Program Managers. The role involves managing large-scale software modernization and infrastructure projects, assisting with planning and execution, and ensuring deliverables meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Support Program Managers in the day-to-day management and execution of Federal Government programs.
• Assist with managing large software modernization and infrastructure-related projects.
• Track, manage, and follow up on program and project deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Support project planning, scheduling, coordination, status reporting, and documentation.
• Monitor action items, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and deadlines across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams, subcontractors, stakeholders, and government customers.
• Help ensure program activities align with contractual requirements, customer expectations, and internal quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain program management artifacts, including meeting notes, schedules, trackers, reports, briefings, deliverable logs, and status updates.
• Support Agile and SAFe project activities, including sprint/release tracking, PI planning support, dependency tracking, and coordination across teams.
• Participate in customer meetings, prepare materials, capture decisions, and follow up on next steps.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, internal teams, and leadership.
• Identify potential schedule, delivery, quality, or customer concerns and escalate them appropriately.
• Ensure deliverables are completed with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Support continuous improvement of program management processes, reporting, and project controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in program management, project management, or direct support to Program Managers.
• Experience managing or supporting large-scale software modernization projects.
• Experience managing or supporting large infrastructure projects.
• Experience supporting Federal Government programs or contracts.
• Understanding of SAFe, Agile, Scrum, or similar project delivery frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate complex technical programs with multiple workstreams, stakeholders, schedules, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and action items.
• Demonstrated ability to track deliverables and ensure follow-through to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to work professionally with government customers and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite team environment.
• For security requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must be able to work 100% onsite in Crystal City (Arlington), VA with no remote or hybrid schedule.
Preferred:
• Certified SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, or other SAFe certification is a plus.
• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other project/program management certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile Release Train, PI Planning, or scaled Agile environments.
• Experience supporting DoD or other Federal Government customers.
• Experience preparing executive-level reports, dashboards, briefings, and customer status updates.
• Experience supporting contract deliverables, performance metrics, SLAs, quality reviews, or customer reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar program management tools.
• Experience coordinating technical teams across software development, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, or IT modernization projects.
• Peoplesoft skill is a plus.
