Position Description:
We are seeking a Junior Technical Program Coordinator who excels at communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and help drive alignment across teams.
Supporting a major financial services client, you will work in a fast-paced, AWS-centric environment, partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure initiatives are well-coordinated, clearly communicated, and successfully delivered.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.
This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
We are seeking a Junior Technical Program Coordinator who excels at communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who can translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and help drive alignment across teams.
Supporting a major financial services client, you will work in a fast-paced, AWS-centric environment, partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure initiatives are well-coordinated, clearly communicated, and successfully delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
. Translate technical concepts, project updates, and risks into clear, concise, and engaging narratives
. Preparing PPT decks, collaborating with multiple projects teams
. Support program and project managers in planning, tracking, and reporting on delivery progress
. Attending meetings, stand-ups, and stakeholder reviews with a focus on preparing meeting minutes and action items
. Create polished presentations and materials for leadership updates and program reviews
. Contribute to release coordination activities in an AWS-heavy delivery environment
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 2+ years of experience in a project coordination, program support, or similar role, or a or a master's degree in equivalent field
. Strong presentation and storytelling skills, able to communicate effectively on complex topics
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
. General understanding of technology concepts and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
. Highly organized with strong attention to detail
. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured way
Desired Skillset:
. Exposure to Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
. Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments
. Experience supporting release management or program delivery functions
. Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,700.00 - $94,200.00.
