Job description

Advantech has an immediate opening for a high-impact Technical Program Manager to support our key account sales organization. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of computer electronics, strong project management skills, and is comfortable leading technical discussions with cross-functional engineering teams. In this role, youโ€™ll serve as the bridge between customer engineering requirements and Advantechโ€™s embedded systems portfolio, coordinate with engineering and product teams located in the U.S., Taiwan, and China. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require (approximately 25%). In this role you will manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Key Account Managers on customer visits, weekly cadence calls, and solution development to identify best-fit Advantech embedded computing products for each engagement
  • Provide technical pre-sales support and draft proposals, RFI/RFP/RFQ responses for assigned accounts and opportunities
  • Coordinate with Product Managers, Applications Engineers, and factory teams in Taiwan to deliver timely, high-quality computing hardware solutions to customers
  • Manage multiple customer programs simultaneously, keeping projects on schedule and within budget while proactively identifying risks
  • Develop and deliver customer-facing presentations and materials for Solution Days, onsite meetings, and teleconferences
  • Interface with channel partners and key account contacts to communicate project updates and maintain alignment throughout the program lifecycle
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge through product, process, and industry training.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or a technical field, or equivalent Technologist Diploma or certifications
  • Solid understanding of embedded PC systems and industrial PC hardware and software
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of project management, systems engineering, or product development experience.
  • Working knowledge of electronic schematics, PCB layouts, manufacturing processes, and embedded computing architectures.
