Job description

Entry-Level Sales Representative

NurseDash | In-Person Role | Inside Sales + Field Sales

About NurseDash

NurseDash helps healthcare organizations solve one of their most important workforce challenges: finding reliable clinical staff when they need them most. We partner with healthcare facilities to help fill open shifts, support workforce flexibility, reduce staffing stress, and create better hiring outcomes.

We are growing our sales team and looking for motivated, curious, and coachable team members who want to build a career in sales, healthcare technology, and business development.

About the Role

The Entry-Level Sales Representative role is an in-person sales position designed for candidates who are starting or growing a career in sales. This role is a strong fit for recent graduates, career changers, or professionals with limited sales experience who are eager to learn, work hard, and grow with a fast-moving company.

You will support NurseDash's growth through a mix of inside sales and field sales. That means making outbound calls, sending emails, using LinkedIn, researching prospects, visiting healthcare facilities, and helping create new business opportunities for the NurseDash team.

This is an entry-level role with hands-on training, commission upside, and a clear path for growth into more advanced sales roles, including Account Executive.

What You'll Do

As an Entry-Level Sales Representative, you will help NurseDash identify and develop new healthcare facility partnerships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Making outbound cold calls to healthcare facilities and decision-makers
  • Sending prospecting emails and LinkedIn messages
  • Researching potential customers and identifying facilities that may need workforce support
  • Scheduling introductory calls, meetings, and demos for the sales team
  • Visiting facilities in person to introduce NurseDash and build local relationships
  • Following up with prospects after calls, emails, visits, and marketing campaigns
  • Learning how to qualify leads and uncover customer pain points
  • Communicating NurseDash's value in a clear, professional, and compelling way
  • Tracking activity, notes, and next steps in the CRM
  • Collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations to help grow NurseDash
Who You Are

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Motivated, hardworking, and excited to learn
  • Curious and willing to ask thoughtful questions
  • Comfortable starting conversations with new people
  • Coachable and open to feedback
  • Competitive, resilient, and able to handle rejection
  • Organized and consistent with follow-up
  • Professional and comfortable representing NurseDash in person
  • Interested in sales, healthcare, technology, staffing, recruiting, or business development
  • Excited to be part of a growing company where individual effort can make a real impact
Qualifications

No prior full-time sales experience is required. This role is built for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of sales and grow over time.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort speaking with business professionals by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person
  • Ability to work in person and travel locally for field sales activity as needed
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, athletics, campus leadership, fundraising, or other people-facing roles is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
Compensation and Growth

This role includes an entry-level base salary, commission upside, and growth potential for high performers.

NurseDash is looking for people who want to build a real career. Team members who perform well in this role will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility, manage larger opportunities, and grow into roles such as Account Executive or other sales and business development positions.

Why Join NurseDash

At NurseDash, you will get hands-on experience building relationships, learning how to sell, understanding customer needs, and helping healthcare organizations solve real workforce challenges.

You will work closely with experienced team members, receive direct coaching, and gain exposure to sales strategy, healthcare operations, marketing, and startup growth. For the right person, this role can be the first step toward a long-term career in sales and leadership.

Equal Opportunity

NurseDash is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to building a team that reflects a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, age, or any other characteristic protected by law.
