Job Title: Travel RN – Medical Surgical Oncology Patient Population:
  • Oncology patients receiving chemotherapy
  • Soft tissue malignancies
  • Symptom management related to cancer treatment or disease progression
  • Patients requiring management of multiple comorbidities
Unit Details:
  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
  • Charting System: Epic (Required)
  • Telemetry: GE B450 Monitoring System
  • Equipment: Alaris Pumps, Bladder Scanner, Stryker Beds
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Active RN License
  • BLS (AHA) Required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to float to equivalent or lower acuity units
Required Clinical Skills:
  • Dysrhythmia interpretation
  • Accessing implanted ports
  • Central line and PICC line management
  • Arterial line management
  • Blood product administration
