Our cloud-based platform is designed to be powerful, scalable, and reliableโ€”supporting mid-size to enterprise clients across the U.S. as they modernize how they operate. We help property teams streamline the work that matters most: online rent payments, tenant portals, maintenance requests, leasing and applications, and efficient communication through email and text. With capabilities like document scanning, eSignature, and integrations with major listing sites such as Zillow and Trulia, Property Matrix reduces manual overhead and improves the experience for both staff and residents. We are also investing in AI-driven capabilities to automate repetitive workflows, surface insights, and make property operations more efficient.

We are seeking an Entry Level Software Developer with a completed bachelorโ€™s degree and a strong interest in launching or advancing a career in software engineering. In this role, you will contribute to real product development alongside a collaborative team, working on new features and improvements that directly impact customers. You will gain exposure across the full stack while developing strong engineering fundamentals through coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy new product features for our cloud-based platform.
  • Develop and enhance front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React experience is a plus).
  • Contribute to back-end development and database integrations (Ruby on Rails and SQL experience is a plus).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues across the application stack.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write, update, and maintain automated tests; improve test reliability and coverage (Selenium experience is a plus).
  • Document new functionality and maintain clear technical notes to support ongoing development.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvements in performance, maintainability, and code quality.


Requirements

  • Completed bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or another related technical/science major.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to research and execute solutions using documentation and tutorials.
